Two Gorgeous Italian Cinderellas Crash Prince Borghese′s Cocktail Party With the 25 American Women
Prince Lorenzo Borghese will begin his fairytale adventure searching for love on the ninth edition of the ABC′s popular romance reality series, THE BACHELOR: ROME, when it premieres with a two-hour special, Monday, October 2 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Lorenzo, a handsome 34-year-old cosmetics entrepreneur whose storied family background reaches back to the 1600s in Rome, will kick off his challenge to find the woman of his dreams in a setting that is both spectacular and familiar to him, including impressive Roman sites such as the historic Forum, Colosseum and Pantheon, the romantic Trevi Fountain and the lush Villa Borghese, the largest park in Rome, which bears his family′s name.
In the premiere episode, in a princely castle among frescos and centuries-old oil paintings in the grand ballroom, the Prince′s cocktail party is interrupted when two stunning Italian women crash the party and quickly plot to steal Lorenzo′s heart and attention. The 25 jealous and already competitive American ladies step up their game to pull Lorenzo back into their fold, but the Italian beauties don′t give up. The tug-of-war over Prince Borghese continues through the evening. With the sun rising, the stakes have never been higher, as Lorenzo must eliminate 15 of the 27 women (the 25 original women plus the two Italian newcomers), leaving 12 eligible to become Princess Borghese. It′s "arrivederci Roma" for over half the ladies.
